-Hitler and company hated the Jews so they started executing them.
-Hitler thought the Jews caused all of the problems in Germany.
-The Jews were isolated into place called ghettos.
-Once he got them there he would take them in masses to concentration camps to execute them.
-The most known concentration camp is known as Auschwitz.
-They would kill them by bringing the Jews into gas chambers to kill them.
-They then would burn the bodies to rid of the evidence.

Adolf Hitler and Mein Kampf
- autobiography by Adolf Hitler
- written while he was in prison in 1924
- first published in two volumes
- translates into "My Struggle"
- one of the most controversial books ever
- it wasn't written very well, but was still a success
- much of the first volume is a lie
- the book focuses on his political plan for Germany
- also in the book was his plan to execute the Jews
- Mein Kampf is basically a list of Hitler's goals
Persecution of the Jews
- The Germans first moved the Jews to places called ghettos
- The Jews lived here until the were killed
- the most populated ghetto had 265k people at one time (no name found)
- The Jews were taken to places called concentration camps
- they then lived here until they were killed
- over 11 million jews were killed in these camps
- of the 11 million, 1 million were children
- they would kill the Jews by taking them into gas chambers to kill them
- Once killed, the soldiers would burn the bodies
- They then would dig very large holes to bury them
Daily Life of German people in time of the war
- food was very limited
- people were moved from shelters if they were poor
- things were usually hostile
- people tried to get out if they didn't agree with Hitler
- food usually composed of cabbage and bread
- life was terrorizing
- everything and everyone was devastated

- baptized as a catholic
- he lived in Austria
- his father died when he was only 9
- his mom died when he was 18
- he was left a good amount of money by his late parents
- he dream was to be an artist
- he was the fourth of six children
- he considered being a priest
- he attended technical school, but failed
Effects of military air strikes
- air strikes killed millions in WWII
- caused all kinds of air pollution which led to more deaths
- caused a great amount of damage
- sometimes led to nuclear waste
- destroyed anything and everything
- it was a major tactic in WWII
- it made everyone else protect their land much more than they would
- created fear in the enemy
- created a ton of money for the airfare business
- made more jobs for the people

-They laid down what was to be taught and placed an emphasis on the subjects they considered suitable in producing “Ideal Nazis”
-History – To show how successful the Nazis had been

-Geography – Emphasised the harshness of the Treaty of Versailles
-Math – Bombing Jewish Ghettos The promotion of sport marched the anti-academic nature
-Religious studies lost time and in 1935 it was dropped as a subject
-Race Studies and ideology appeared on the timetable as Nazi beliefs were facts -A greater emphasis was placed on domestic science and other subjects suitable for motherhood in girls schools
